1. Leave granted.
2. These appeals emanate from the judgment and order dated 24.4.2008 passed by the Madras High Court in Criminal R.C. No. 99 of 2008 and M.P. No.1 of 2008.
3. Admittedly, the suit bearing O.S. No.430 of 2004, filed by the appellant, is pending before the District Munsif Court, Ambattur and another suit being C.S. No.742 of 2009 is pending before the Madras High Court. We deem it appropriate to request the High Court as also the District Munsif Court to dispose of the above mentioned suits without being 2 influenced by any observations made by the High Court, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within one year from the date of communication of this order.
4. We direct the parties to maintain status quo as of today. They would be at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
5. These appeals are disposed of with the aforementioned observation and direction.
