M/S Texmaco Ltd. Cement Division vs A.S. Narasimham

Supreme Court Of India|07 March, 2008

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Leave granted.
We have heard learned counsel for the respective parties. We are of the view that since the main writ petition is pending before the High Court and this appeal is directed against an interim order, it would be in the interest of justice to have the main matter disposed of in the High Court.
Accordingly, without disturbing the interim order as passed and without making any observations in respect thereof, we request the High Court to dispose of the pending writ petition within four months from the date of communication of this order, having particular regard to the fact that there are other similar matters pending which -2- involve the appellant herein.
The appeal is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
