Supreme Court Of India|22 November, 1999

JUDGMENT / ORDER

ORDER K.T. Thomas and M.B. Shah, JJ.
1. Leave granted.
2. Learned Counsel for the appellant-State contends that the impugned order of the High Court cannot be sustained. Thus Court in Rajdeo Sharma's case made certain directions to speed up trial. Subsequently this Court has modified some of those directions vide 1999 (JT) 7 317. Learned Counsel for the Respondent has fairly conceded that in view of the modification made in the aforesaid decision the impugned order of the High Court cannot be sustained. Accordingly, we set aside the impugned order and direct the trial court to proceed with the trial.
