R.Vanaja Rani vs M.Robert

Supreme Court Of India|09 July, 2009

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent. This Transfer Petition has been filed to transfer the case pending before the Family Court at Kota, Rajasthan to the Family Court at Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. The application/petition filed by the respondent-husband was allowed ex-parte by the Court. The Petitioner's counsel is not in a position to state as to what has happened thereafter i.e. whether the ex-parte decree is set aside or the application is disposed of. For the time being, the plea as sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous and the same is disposed of accordingly.
The Transfer Petition is disposed of, without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to approach in case of difficulty arises.
