CHANDRIKA …Appellant Versus THE COMMISSIONER, COMMISSIONER OF URBAN LAND CEILING AND URBAN LAND TAX AND ANR. …Respondents O R D E R Delay in preferring Review Petition is condoned.
Application for listing Review Petition in open Court is rejected.
In proceedings initiated under the Urban Land Ceiling Act, 1978 the possession of excess urban land was taken over well before the Repeal Act came into force. In the premises, the Writ Petition filed by the present Review Petitioner SIGN was found to be without any substance and the claim was rejected by the Division Bench. The Special Leave Petition arising therefrom was dismissed by this Court.
We have gone through the Review Petition and the grounds raised in support thereof. We do not find any error apparent on record to justify interference.
This Review Petition is, therefore, dismissed.
