JUDGMENT / ORDER

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION CIVIL APPEAL NO.7362-7363 OF 2002 NALLI SANYASI NAIDU APPELLANT(S) VERSUS MANASA’S TRUST VIJAYANAGARAM & ORS. RESPONDENT(S) O R D E R After hearing learned counsel for the parties and going through the impugned judgment , we are of the view that in exercise of power under Article 136 of the Constitution, no inter ference is needed in view of the findings arrived at by the courts below excepting that the directio n regarding payment of damages for the illegal occupation of the land from the date of occupat ion till the land is vacated by the appellant shall be deleted. We order accordingly. The appeal s are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
In view of the order now passed in these appeals, applications for initiating contemp t proceedings are also disposed of.
