JUDGMENT / ORDER

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CIVIL ORIGINAL JURISDICTION CONTEMPT PETITION (C) NOS. 315-316 of 2007 IN CIVIL APPEAL NOS. 3424-3425 OF 2005 JULIETA A. TORCATO PETITIONER VERSUS SULEMAN ISMAIL & ORS. RESPONDENTS O R D E R Mr. Guru Krishna Kumar states that the building has been handed over to the petitioner within the time permitted by this Court. To this extent, we find that the contempt petition has been rendered infructuous. Mr. Guru Krishna Kumar also points out that some arrears of rent are due and as the building is in a very dilapidated condition, he be permitted to seek his remedies in an appropriate forum for damages. We, accordingly, leave it open to the petitioner to pursue such other remedies as may be open to her in accordance with law.
The contempt petitions however, stand disposed of as infructuous.
