JUDGMENT / ORDER

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION CRIMINAL APEPAL NO. 2228 OF 2010 [ARISING OUT OF SLP(CRL.) NO. 754 OF 2010 AJAY GHOSH B. APPELLANT VERSUS K.K. SAHADEVAN & ANR. RESPONDENT O R D E R Leave granted.
We have heard the learned counsel for the parties. Pursuant to the orders of this Court dated 2nd December, 2009, the appellant has deposited in the High Court Rs. 7 lakhs which is the amount of the cheque. We, accordingly, permit the respondent to withdraw the said amount in full and final settlement of the dispute.
In this view of the matter, we allow this appeal, set aside the conviction of the appellant and quash the complaint.
